The University of Kent has introduced The Scholarship for Academic Excellence in the UK to support financially all the students registering in any progress of study at the university.
Kent University Scholarship
Kent Scholarship for Academic Excellence: This scholarship is awarded to students who achieve exceptional academic results in their high school or undergraduate studies. The scholarship is worth up to £10,000 for the first year of study.
International Scholarships for Taught Masters Students: This scholarship is open to international students who have received an offer to study a taught Masters degree at Kent. The scholarship is worth £8,000 and is awarded based on academic merit.
Postgraduate Research Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students who are pursuing a postgraduate research degree at Kent. The scholarship is worth up to £16,000 and is awarded based on academic merit.
Kent Law School Taught Masters Scholarships: This scholarship is open to students who have received an offer to study a taught Masters degree in law at Kent. The scholarship is worth up to £5,000 and is awarded based on academic merit.
Eligibility for University Kent Scholarship:
Candidates from all nationalities are eligible.
All Candidates need to be entering the first year (Stage 1) of undergraduate degree study at the University of Kent’s Canterbury or Medway campus.
Applicants must have accomplished the required scores for at least one of the qualifications
shown below.
- Applicants must have attained any qualification higher than those listed below (i.e. do not already hold an undergraduate degree).
- Candidates must not be participating in the Higher Degree Training arrangement.
- All Contenders must fulfill the conditions of entry admission to the University of Kent.
- Candidates must have A*AA at A level (or specified equivalents) and meet other principles.

The Kent Scholarship for Academic Excellence in the UK:
The effective candidates of the University of Kent Excellence in the UK will receive a scholarship value of £2,000 for stage 1 (first year) of study.
Please note: The scholarship may be held in union with the University endowment and most other
undergraduate grants.
