Regina University admission Application Requirements are as follows:

Submit the following by the appropriate deadline:

  • Undergraduate Application for Admission or International Undergraduate Application for Admission (Study Permit students)
  • Application fee (currently $100.00 – subject to change)
  • An official high school transcript showing final grades to date OR a school certified transcript
  • A schedule or list of current and remaining high school courses planned (can be listed directly on the application form)

 

Early Conditional Average calculated using the best 5 courses listed below:

For the Faculties of Business, Engineering, Kinesiology, Nursing, and Science, admission will be based on:

  1. One course in English or French Language Arts (grade 11 or 12)
  2. One academic Math at the grade 11 or 12 level
  3. One course from List A below at the grade 11 or 12 level
  4. One course from List B below at the grade 11 or 12 level
  5. One other course from List A or List B below at the grade 11 or 12 level

For the Faculties of Arts, Education, Media Art and Performance, and Social Work, admission will be based on:

  1. One course in English or French Language Arts (grade 11 or 12)
  2. One course from List A below at the grade 11 or 12 level
  3. One course from List B below at the grade 11 or 12 level
  4. Two other courses from List A or B below at the grade 11 or 12 level

 


General Admission Requirements

The negligible admission requirements are as follows:

  •   A master’s degree for entry into a doctoral program  A four-year bachelor’s degree for entrance to a master’s program,
  •  And  standard, similar qualifications from a recognized university-level institution;
  • Satisfactory academic standing; and adequate undergraduate background to carry out graduate work in a preferred field.
  •   Applicants with a three-year degree, if accepted, will normally be required to successfully complete qualifying senior undergraduate courses in the discipline.

English Proficiency Tests. International applicants, except those who attended universities where the language of instruction was English, must submit verification of English proficiency, usually in the form of acknowledged tests. The most common is TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). Applicants are obliged to have a TOEFL score of at least 580 Paper-based or 80 Internet-based, except those applying to Engineering, where a bare minimum TOEFL score of 550 Paper-based or 80 Internet-based applies.   The Admission Application Deadlines are as follows:

The deadlines differ from academic unit to academic unit.

 Note that all required credentials must be received in the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research office by 4:15 PM (for paper documents) or midnight (for electronic documents) on the limited date. If the closing date falls on a weekend or holiday, the time limit will be extended to the next business day.

The courses listed below have their application deadlines.  The time limit is for international and domestic applicants.   Various programs do not have a specific deadline and will admit applications at any time during the year
